On January 5th, 1982 Carl “Mowet” Lovett blessed us for the first time. Talent is engrained in Mowet’s DNA. His mother who is an avid writer and a father who is a singer with tremendous talent, so naturally, creating music is second nature. He credits his grandmother for her strong belief in his creative gifts from an early age. He was noticed by his church through hard work and dedication, soon after he was elected president of his church choir, while at home, acting as a pseudo-father figure to his two sisters. Mowet’s ability to craft music was unheralded in South Florida, create a beat, write, and singing made him a hot commodity. Soon he was being asked by major artists such as Trick Daddy, Young Jeezy, Jackie-O, and Rick Ross to create and perform hooks. Over the past few years, Mowet has assisted and sung on major mix-tapes and has a feature on DJ Khaled’s album with Brisco and Jackie O. He has been approached by several people including Whitney Houston in regards to signing a contract and when Pleasure P left Pretty Ricky, he replaced him on a scheduled tour in Europe & Japan. The experience really pushed his passion for music because the fans recognized his talent and they wanted to know where his solo material was. Currently Mowet now going by his given name Carl Lovett is working on his debut album his new found home, G1 Muzic and is touring throughout South Florida.
